    What is a non-immigrant visa? A Non-immigrant Visa is a visa for foreigners, who want to come or remain in the United States, on a temporary basis for a specific period of time and purpose, as opposed to an Immigrant Visa through which an individual may obtain a Green Card or Permanent Resident status in the U.S., allowing the foreigner to remain in the US permanently
