USCIS Will Increase Fees Soon

On July 31, 2020, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), announced that USCIS is increasing the filing fees for certain immigration applications and it will be effective on October 2, 2020.
The final rule shows that, while USCIS decreases the costs of some immigration applications, other immigration benefits like Citizenship see an important increase. Also USCIS will apply for the first time ever, a fee for asylum applicants, in line with Trump’s administration policy of making life more difficult for those more vulnerable.
